Alcohol-free attars; eau de parfums are alcohol-based Notes and longevity listed Blended in India

How it unfolds

A scent pyramid, not a note list.

Gucci Guilty opens on lavender, lemon, settles into orange, neroli, and dries down to cedar, patchouli. Because it is an alcohol-based eau de parfum, it lifts off the skin and carries further into the room — expect 4–6 hours from two or three sprays.

The blend

Gucci Guilty

Some scents announce themselves; Guilty arrives. A bright, zesty composition that settles in like it was always yours.

The opening of Lavender and Lemon gives way to Orange and Neroli, resting finally on Cedar and Patchouli — a slow, deliberate dry-down. Fine-fragrance concentration that stays composed through date evenings and close conversations.

Two formats

Alcohol-free roll-on attars that stay close, and eau de parfums that carry.

Long-wearing

4–6 hours on skin from a single application.

Small-batch

Blended and filled in our own workshop in India.

Gift-ready

Wrapped by hand, with a note if you want one.

The ritual

How to wear it.

Start on warm skin

Roll or spray once across the inside of each wrist. Body heat opens the top notes.

Pulse points only

Wrists, the hollow behind each ear, base of the throat. Three points is plenty.

Do not rub

Rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the dry-down. Let it sit.

Re-apply when it steps back

An oil stays close and fades quietly; an eau de parfum carries further and thins sooner. One more pass at the wrists is enough either way.

Guilty lasts around 4–6 hours on skin. It is an eau de parfum, so concentration is high and the dry-down is gradual — cedar and patchouli linger longest. Spray on pulse points and once on clothing; fabric holds the scent even longer than skin.

Yes — Guilty is an eau de parfum, so like all fine-fragrance sprays it uses a perfumer's alcohol base. The alcohol evaporates within seconds of spraying, leaving only the fragrance itself. If you prefer a completely alcohol-free format, Essent's roll-on attars deliver a similar depth in a pure oil base.

Guilty is genuinely unisex. The bright, zesty character reads elegant rather than gendered, and it is worn and loved by both men and women. Fragrance families like fresh citrus sit on skin chemistry differently for everyone — which is exactly what makes a shared bottle interesting.

Two to four sprays are enough. Hold the bottle 10–15 cm from skin and target pulse points — neck, chest, wrists — plus one spray on clothing if you want extra staying power. Guilty is an eau de parfum, so over-spraying is unnecessary; let the cedar and patchouli base do the work of lasting.

Guilty is at its best during date evenings and close conversations, and everyday wear. Its bright, zesty profile has a considerate, close wear that never crowds a room, so it matches the setting rather than fighting it. Many wearers make it their signature for exactly those moments.
