Who it's forMade for lovers of classic Indian florals, with everyday wear in mind.
🌸 Essent Kewda is a fresh, sweet, uplifting floral fragrance inspired by the iconic Indian kewda flower. It opens crisp and bright, flows into a soft, honeyed floral heart, and settles into a warm, musky woody base. Light, refreshing, and emotionally soothing — the perfect scent...

How it unfolds

A scent pyramid, not a note list.

Kewda opens on citrus, green petals, settles into jasmine, and dries down to musk, amber. Because it is an alcohol-based eau de parfum, it lifts off the skin and carries further into the room — expect 6–8 hours from two or three sprays.

The blend

Kewda

Kewda is a study in garden-fresh balance — built to be worn close and remembered long.

The opening of Citrus and Green Petals gives way to Jasmine, resting finally on Musk and Amber — a slow, deliberate dry-down. Two sprays are enough; it holds its shape from everyday wear to whatever follows.

Two formats

Alcohol-free roll-on attars that stay close, and eau de parfums that carry.

Long-wearing

6–8 hours on skin from a single application.

Small-batch

Blended and filled in our own workshop in India.

Gift-ready

Wrapped by hand, with a note if you want one.

The ritual

How to wear it.

Start on warm skin

Roll or spray once across the inside of each wrist. Body heat opens the top notes.

Pulse points only

Wrists, the hollow behind each ear, base of the throat. Three points is plenty.

Do not rub

Rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the dry-down. Let it sit.

Re-apply when it steps back

An oil stays close and fades quietly; an eau de parfum carries further and thins sooner. One more pass at the wrists is enough either way.

Concentrated attar oil being decanted from a glass vial

Kewda lasts around 6–8 hours on skin. It is an eau de parfum, so concentration is high and the dry-down is gradual — musk and amber linger longest. Spray on pulse points and once on clothing; fabric holds the scent even longer than skin.

Yes — Kewda is an eau de parfum, so like all fine-fragrance sprays it uses a perfumer's alcohol base. The alcohol evaporates within seconds of spraying, leaving only the fragrance itself. If you prefer a completely alcohol-free format, Essent's roll-on attars deliver a similar depth in a pure oil base.

Kewda is genuinely unisex. The garden-fresh character reads elegant rather than gendered, and it is worn and loved by both men and women. Fragrance families like white floral sit on skin chemistry differently for everyone — which is exactly what makes a shared bottle interesting.

Two to four sprays are enough. Hold the bottle 10–15 cm from skin and target pulse points — neck, chest, wrists — plus one spray on clothing if you want extra staying power. Kewda is an eau de parfum, so over-spraying is unnecessary; let the musk and amber base do the work of lasting.

Yes — Kewda also comes as an 8 ml alcohol-free roll-on attar with the same scent profile in concentrated oil form. The roll-on wears closer to skin, lasts longer per application and fits any pocket, making it the pick for travel, touch-ups and alcohol-free preferences. Find it linked on this page.

Kewda makes an easy, thoughtful gift that does not need a big budget. Fragrance is personal, so lean on its breadth: the garden-fresh profile of jasmine over musk and amber pleases a wide range of tastes. For festivals, birthdays or a just-because, it arrives ready to delight.
