How to wear it.
Start on warm skin
Roll or spray once across the inside of each wrist. Body heat opens the top notes.
Pulse points only
Wrists, the hollow behind each ear, base of the throat. Three points is plenty.
Do not rub
Rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the dry-down. Let it sit.
Re-apply when it steps back
An oil stays close and fades quietly; an eau de parfum carries further and thins sooner. One more pass at the wrists is enough either way.

Black Aoudh lasts around 7–9 hours on skin. It is an eau de parfum, so concentration is high and the dry-down is gradual — agarwood and sandalwood linger longest. Spray on pulse points and once on clothing; fabric holds the scent even longer than skin.
Yes — Black Aoudh is an eau de parfum, so like all fine-fragrance sprays it uses a perfumer's alcohol base. The alcohol evaporates within seconds of spraying, leaving only the fragrance itself. If you prefer a completely alcohol-free format, Essent's roll-on attars deliver a similar depth in a pure oil base.
Black Aoudh is genuinely unisex. The deep, resinous character reads elegant rather than gendered, and it is worn and loved by both men and women. Fragrance families like oud & amber sit on skin chemistry differently for everyone — which is exactly what makes a shared bottle interesting.
